Humbucker Music Residency

Humbucker Music takes over the Southern Cross Lounge for a monthly residency of experimental improvisation. The quartet—Nick Storring, Mira Martin-Gray, Colin Cudmore, and Jason Doell—crafts detailed landscapes of tone and texture using ferromagnetic instruments and found objects. It’s live musique concrète performed through humbucker pickups, creating a unique sonic environment without electronic processing.
