Alejandra Czarny Ensemble: Alejandra Czarny is a singer and songwriter from Buenos Aires, Argentina, now based in South Florida. Her work is grounded in vocal expression and storytelling, weaving together Yiddish song, original compositions, and Latin American musical colors. The Bashevis Singers: The Bashevis Singers are the children of generations of people who lived their lives in Yiddish. Evie Gawenda, Husky Gawenda, and Gideon Preiss are the core members of this critically acclaimed band bringing to life classic 20th Century folk songs and new compositions.
