Queer Cinema Club concludes its 1996 summer trilogy with a special 30th anniversary screening of F. Gary Gray’s 1996 heist classic, Set It Off. Starring Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith, Vivica A. Fox, and Kimberly Elise, the film follows four friends planning a bank heist. This screening celebrates the electric performances in a cinematic ride that challenges racialized misogyny and capitalism. Curated and hosted by Peter Knegt at Paradise on Bloor.
