ROTE8 EVENTS presents: LUIGI MADONNA & BAILEY IBBS Luigi Madonna has been a fixture of the international techno circuit since the early 2000s, building his name through releases on Drumcode and Richie Hawtin's Plus 8. His sets are driving and hypnotic, shaped by two decades on the road through Awakenings, Time Warp, and Loveland. Bailey Ibbs represents the current wave of UK techno. Having dedicated years to exploring and experimenting with sound, Ibbs made his entrance into the Techno scene in 2022 with the release of his 'Volta EP', which garnered the attention of heavyweights such as DVS1, Ben Klock & Marron. Building on this success, Ibbs continued to make significant contributions for KiNK, Token, HATE, and SLAM. His presence has become solidified on the global circuit alongside another impressive release, 'Not Into It EP,' on Night Service in 2023. Local support comes from Lee Osborne, a curator of the scene who has commanded dancefloors at some of Toronto's most iconic venues such as Footwork, Guvernment, Coda, Comfort Zone, and Standard Time and shared decks with the likes of Chris Liebing, Green Velvet, Loco Dice, Truncate, Dubfire, Misstress Barbara, TIGA, Steve Bug, Josh Wink, Lee Burridge, and Craig Richards. On opening duties will be Toronto's very own Dino Nydo. You can always count on Dino to get everyone in the groove.
